However, it seems Warner Bros. Interactive and Avalanche Software are full steam ahead for Hogwarts Legacy’s release. A recent leak seemingly specifies its release date as December 6, which is believable for a number of reasons.

Of course, merch like an art book does not always release the same day as a game, but it’s not all too common that it releases before either. The real kicker here for December 6 being Hogwarts Legacy’s release date is actually Gotham Knights. The other WB game already has a release date and its art book releases on the same day as the game. In other words, it would not be surprising for Warner Bros to be repeating the same tactic here. This update would also suggest that a release date update was coming in soon, as the developer and/or publisher would have likely communicated this date to the online retailer ahead of time.
Hogwarts Legacy getting a release date announcement any day now would be an exciting development. This isn’t the only suggestion this could happen either. Recently, information regarding Hogwarts Legacy’s Collector’s Edition content leaked online. All of this suggests that not only is a release date reveal imminent, but there is no planned delay for the game, at least as of now.
Hogwarts Legacy is set to release in holiday 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
