Death’s Door was made by the independent game developer Acid Nerve and was published by Devolver Digital. Plenty of players and critics repeatedly compared the game to the Legend of Zelda and Dark Souls video games. It was originally released on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC this past July, and the game will be on other game platforms soon. A recent announcement from the official Devolver Digital Twitter reveals the release dates for Death’s Door on the PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

The new versions of the game will come out this November 23, and the tweet itself comes with a new Death’s Door gameplay trailer. The general reception to Death’s Door’s release date announcement has been largely positive. Most of the commenters on the post have been voicing their excitement about the news, many of whom are glad to see the game launching on the other platforms. However, that’s not the end of the surprise announcements for Death’s Door.

There was a second tweet made by Devolver Digital which reveals that players who pre-order the PS4 and PS5 versions of Death’s Door will receive a free, bonus video game. The bonus game is called Titan Souls and was also developed by Acid Nerve and previously published by Devolver Digital. However, the tweet doesn’t say if the Nintendo Switch version of Death’s Door will also be receiving Titan Souls as a pre-order bonus game.

Titan Souls is a 2D, top-down, action-adventure game where the main character is a mysterious archer armed with a single reusable arrow. The archer’s goal is to take down nineteen powerful large beings called Titans, and the game was originally released in 2015 on PC, PS4, PS Vita, and Android devices. According to the post, Titan Souls was the debut video game for Acid Nerve, and it will now be a free, pre-order bonus game. Devolver Digital also provides a link in the second tweet that goes to the PlayStation Store where players can pre-order Death’s Door.

Death’s Door is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and is scheduled to release for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on November 23, 2021.
